The menu is extensive of authentic Filipino cuisines, cooked in the traditional way. An impressive array of dishes such as 12 kinds of sinigang, various fishes native to angono such as kanduli, hito, dalag.
Exotic fare like Itik (native duck) ginataang kuhol and sinabawang balut, and the trademark Minaluto, all serve to showcase the Filipino’s rich cuisine sure to delight every diner’s palette.
Classic dishes such as Kare-Kare, Ihaw-Ihaw and kaldereta have also been popular. Indeed, the menu is replete with every dish popular in the whole Rizal Province.
Located 30 km. west from Manila, Balaw- Balaw opened on October 30 1982 by spouses Perdigon N. Vocalan an Angono Artist and Luzvimin L. Vocalan a former high school teacher.
To uphold and enliven the Filipino tradition and culture we have put up the Balaw- Balaw Restaurant, which is enhanced by the easel paintings that portray Filipino folkways.
